Tracking

your order

You may track progress of your order from this site either with your courier tracking reference using the information in the Shipping section on this page.  You can also track progress by entering your order reference below.

Track or Trace Your Order

To do this you will need the email address you provided when you made your purchase and your order number which can be found on your order acknowledgement email.
 
Payments

All payments are processed using secure card payment systems. Standing Orders, CHAPS and Cheque Payments are also accepted.

 

You may purchase PayPal Gift Vouchers from this site.  Vouchers can only be used in full or part payment for goods and services from www.naijamaican.co.uk. During Checkout you will need to select the paypal payment option. 

 

 

When you visit the shopping centre, secure transaction enabling cookies may be downloaded to your computer.  We respect and will not abuse your privacy. These cookies are used as identifiers in order to make your experience unique and to prevent your information from being lost.  The cookies also track the activity within the payments section for fraud prevention purposes.  Please always delete your cookies, history and temporary internet files and close your browser when you exit the site to protect your information and reduce the risk of identity theft and fraud. In the event that you encounter any problems with payment or using the site, please use the contact us page to tell us the problem.

 

Pricing

In order to bring you the best value, prices for goods on the website are reviewed regularly and are subject to change. Sometimes there may be a difference between the advertised price and the price paid, this reflects promotional price changes, price increases or decreases. This means that the price you see when you pay for an item is usually the correct price for the goods.

 

If you notice any discrepancy, please notify us prior to making a payment for the goods.   Prices advertised are inclusive of all handling, packaging and shipping costs and applicable VAT at 17.5%, For your records, your reciept and order confirmation will always show the amount of VAT you have paid.

 

Shipping

In order to bring you the best service we use a variety of carriers, Prices are based on weight and volume.You will be provided with carrier details and a tracking number once your package has been despatched.  Packages should arrive within 3 to 5 days from confirmed acceptance of your order.

 

Smaller low risk items including jewellery, cd's, vcd's, dvd's and costume jewellery; items from the Taste of Africa and Caribbean range are shipped using Royal mail 1st or Second Class Recorded Delivery.

For Bespoke Taste of Africa and Caribbean, shipping costs are calculated based on the contents required and nature of goods (i.e perishable or non perishable)  Perishables will be shipped using First Class Recorded or Guaranteed Next Day Delivery whilst non perishables will be shipped using the Standard parcels service.  Customers are able to advise if they wish perishables and non perishables to be shipped separately this will be clearly shown within invoices.

 

All shipping costs are already included in the prices advertised on the website except for catering services where delivery is calculated on an individual basis with the option for collection available. 

 

Delivery 

Items purchased from this site will usually be despatched within 24 hours subject to stock availability, with delivery within 2-5 working days.  Some items may be packaged and despatched separately for safety and security. A signature may be required upon delivery.  VAT invoices where not despatched with goods or supplied on completion of payment are available on request.

 

All prices shown on this site include the applicable packaging and postage/carriage costs.  

 

If you place an order for an item which is out of stock, we will contact you to let you know the earliest date of availability and offer you an option to select another item or refund the monies paid if you request this

 

Returns and Refunds 

All items purchased from the E-shop are subject to a 7 day returns policy, unwanted items must be returned onopened and in origninal packaging with all components and parts intact.  We regret that customers are responsible for the cost of returning items to us.

 

Photographs and Imagery are provided for guidance and may be enlarged to show detail with items of jewellery.  Images are not actual size images, Information provided is obtained from supplier specification sheets.  Information on specification and actual goods may vary slightly in some cases.

 

Full refunds will be made for unwanted goods returned unopened and in origninal packaging, opened/unpacked goods can only be refunded if faulty due to poor workmanship.  You are advised to review product specifications carefully before making your purchase. Special Terms apply to CD's and DVD's and Jewellery.

 

DVD's, VCD's and CD's are only refundable if returned unopened.  All Nigerian CD's and VCD are quality checked, guaranteed as fully working and repackaged and sealed by Naijamaican, if returned with broken seals, they are not refundable.

 

Ethnic and Costume Jewellery are quality checked and packaged by Naijamaican.  If an item is unwanted it must be returned unopened and with quality check seals intact.  We cannot refund on jewellery items that have been worn or tried on for Health and Safety reasons.

 

Cancellations

Cancellations must be notified to info@naijamaican.co.uk. Once your intentions have been notified, a refund will be effected immediately. Please note that it may take up to twenty four hours for a reversal of charges and up to five days for your funds to be returned to your account. 

 
For cancellation instructions recieved after goods have already been despatched, we can only effect a refund after you have returned and we have recieved the unwanted goods unopened and in the original packaging.  When returning goods, please wrap them carefullly to prevent transit damage. 

 

Warranties 

All items purchased from the e-shop excepting the clearance centre and unwanted goods centre are subject to a 12 month manufacturers warranty unless otherwise stated.  Please retain your invoice, reciept and or delivery notes, they may be requested as proof of purchase.  Items can either be returned to us for farwarding to the manufacturer or you may contact the manufacturer directly. 

 

Please see the Manufacturer Links page for links to Manufacturer Website Support webpages to access manuals, support and technical information for your product.Please note that manufacturers warranties ONLY cover for mechanical, functional or operational defect caused by faulty or defective workmanship, equipment or material during the first year after purchase. Returned equipment is examined by the manufacturers to ensure that the damage is covered by their warranty.

 

A majority of warranties do not cover for breakages, accidental damage, wilful damage, vandalism, terrorism, theft and other associated damage/s to your equipment. Please note that equipment reported faulty will only be replaced if returned in original packaging with all accessories i.e cd rom, cables, manuals, chargers so that the fault can be traced and determined by technicians. 

 

Naijamaican recommends but does not endorse purchase of extended warranties and cover from Warranties Direct or Domestic and General independent nationwide providers of appliance protection and Insure Your mobile providers of loss, theft, accidental damage and extended warranties for smaller personal items such as mobile phone, ipods, pda's and laptops.
