Tracking/Following Up On Your Order

You may track progress of your order from this site either with your courier tracking reference using the information in the Shipping section on this page.  You can also track progress by entering your order reference below. 

For goods purchased or hired as part of a service provision, please check on arrival or at the point of service that all you have ordered has been supplied to your location. 

If you have ordered Catering with a buffet trail or service where meals are provided please ensure your event location has adequate facilities to ensure smooth delivery of your goods, this includes a kitchen or kitchenette, hot water supply, electrical access points for electrical appliances and relevant permsissons for your service delivery. 

 

Track or Trace Your Order

To do this you will need the email address you provided when you made your purchase and your order number which can be found on your order acknowledgement email.
 
Payments

All payments are processed using secure card payment systems. Standing Orders, CHAPS and Cheque Payments are also accepted.

 

You may purchase PayPal Gift Vouchers from this site.  Vouchers can only be used in full or part payment for goods and services from www.naijamaican.co.uk. During Checkout you will need to select the paypal payment option. 

 

 

When you visit the site, secure transaction enabling cookies may be downloaded to your computer.  We respect and will not abuse your privacy. These cookies are used as identifiers in order to make your experience unique and to prevent your information from being lost.  The cookies also track the activity within the payments section for fraud prevention purposes.  Please be assured that all steps possible to protect your information and reduce the risk of identity theft and fraud. Pricing

In order to bring you the best value, prices for goods on the website are reviewed regularly and are subject to change. Sometimes there may be a difference between the advertised price and the price paid, this reflects promotional price changes, price increases or decreases. This means that the price you see when you pay for an item is usually the correct price for the goods.

 

If you notice any discrepancy, please notify us prior to making a payment for the goods.   Prices advertised are inclusive of all handling, packaging and shipping costs and applicable VAT at 15%.  For your records, your reciept and order confirmation emailed to you will always show the amount of VAT you have paid.

 

Shipping

In order to bring you the best service we use a variety of carriers, Prices are based on weight and volume.You will be provided with carrier details and a tracking number once your package has been despatched.  Packages should arrive within 3 to 5 days from confirmed acceptance of your order.  For delivery of catering services, delivery costs vary according to volume of the job and distance.

 

Small low risk items including invites, party bags, party hats, poppers, streamers, etc; items from the Taste of Africa and Caribbean range are shipped using Royal mail 1st or Second Class Recorded Delivery.

For Bespoke Taste of Africa and Caribbean, shipping costs are calculated based on the contents required and nature of goods (i.e perishable or non perishable)  Perishables will be shipped using First Class Recorded or Guaranteed Next Day Delivery whilst non perishables will be shipped using the Standard parcels service.  Customers are able to advise if they wish perishables and non perishables to be shipped separately and if/where possible and approapriate with agreement with you the customer, timed delivery services will be used to limit the timespans within which you have to wait for delivery of goods.  This will be clearly shown within invoices.  You will always be given clear notification of when goods are being despatched to ensure you are available to collect your goods as perishables may deteriorate if left

 

All shipping costs are shown on the website.  For catering goods if you require delivery on a stand alone basis i.e you are not using any food catering, please ensure you clarify you have paid for this.  For services where delivery is calculated on an individual basis with the option for collection available the same applies. 

 

Delivery 

Items purchased from this site will usually be despatched within 24-48 hours depending on time of order and subject to stock availability, with delivery within 2-5 working days.  Some items may be packaged and despatched separately for safety and security. A signature may be required upon delivery.  VAT invoices where not despatched with goods or supplied on completion of payment are available on request.

 

If you place an order for an item which is out of stock, you should normally be notified of this when you are purchasing, if not  you will be contacted to let you know the earliest date of availability and offered you an option to select another item or refund the monies paid if you request this.

 

Returns and Refunds 

All items purchased except foods supplied to site and already consumed are subject to a 7 day returns policy.  You cannot get a refund for food you or your guests have eaten or that was supplied to your designated site.

Please ensure unwanted items must be returned onopened and in origninal packaging with all components and parts intact.  We regret that customers are responsible for the cost of returning items to us.

 

Photographs and Imagery are provided for guidance and may be enlarged to show detail. Food images are not doctored but may be edited to enhance clarity and are not taken by commercial advertising photographers.Images are not actual size images, Information provided is obtained from supplier specification sheets.  Information on specification and actual goods will not ordinarily vary unless they are substitute products.

 

Full refunds will be made for unwanted goods returned unopened and in origninal packaging, opened/unpacked goods can only be refunded if faulty due to poor workmanship.  You are advised to review product specifications carefully before making your purchase. 

 

Cancellations

Cancellations must be notified to info@naijamaican.co.uk. Once your intentions have been notified, a refund will be effected immediately. Please note that it may take up to twenty four hours for a reversal of charges and up to five days for your funds to be returned to your account. 

 
For cancellation instructions recieved after goods have already been despatched, we can only effect a refund after you have returned and we have recieved the unwanted goods unopened and in the original packaging.  When returning goods, please wrap them carefullly to prevent transit damage.  For cancellation of a catering order please see the catering contract terms and conditions available on the legal information page.

 

Warranties 

All items purchased from the excepting quick consumption goods such as disposable or redisposable party ware are subject to a 12 month manufacturers warranty unless otherwise stated.  Please retain your invoice, reciept and or delivery notes, they may be requested as proof of purchase.  Items can either be returned to Naijamaican for farwarding to the manufacturer or you may contact the manufacturer directly, presenting your reciept as proof of purchase. 

 

Most manufacturers provide Manufacturer Website Support webpages to access manuals, support and technical information for your product.  Naijamaican does not market any extended warranty product for goods but you may find other companies who do provide this. Extended warranties for accidental damage, breakdown, mechanical malfunction and or functionality are widely available.
